HOW THE DONOR PARTICIPATES
The Donor can be any
individual; family; or church group such as men's,
women's or youth fellowship; or business group that
provides the capital by purchasing a UNIT at $700 for
one of STEER's approved member mission societies of
their choice or where most needed.
The donor selects the
mission society but not the missionary projects; the
participating farmer/rancher makes this designation.
Since the UNITS are
perpetual, the donor's investment continues to
multiply and mission groups are financially
strengthened as they spread the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
The office of STEER
matches the donor's UNIT with a cooperating
farmer/rancher who wishes to support the same mission
cause. If after 90 days there is no farmer available
to take the UNIT for a donor's mission designation,
STEER reserves the right to place the UNIT wherever it
is most needed. However, the UNIT will retain the
donor's original designation for future placements.
STEER, Inc. issues
tax-deductible receipts to all persons or groups
giving UNITS.
The UNIT shows an average
annual rate of gain of 40 to 60 percent.
The UNIT is protected and
guaranteed by STEER's insurance fund.
BENEFITS TO THE DONOR
When a donor gives a UNIT
gift, records are maintained and shared with the donor
regarding each time the UNIT is placed and each time
there is a gain. By keeping detailed records we are
able to tell how much each individual UNIT has
produced for missions.
Each donor is a perpetual
partner in this stewardship program and communication
is maintained as long as we have an address. When
deceased, the UNIT becomes a memorial. |
