How Does a Missionary Qualify to Receive Support?

The mission society you represent must be on STEER's membership list.  Click Here to check the list of member mission societies.  To become a member, your mission must make application with STEER and be approved by our General Board of Directors.  For more information on how your society can become a member of STEER, check out our Society Membership page.

What Can a Missionary Do to Begin Receiving Support Through STEER?

• Contact farmers and ranchers you know who are interested in your ministry.
• Provide information for the farmer/rancher showing how they can become involved in your financial support.  Explain the STEER program and suggest it as an easy way for them to support you.  You can have them check out our web site.  To view the web page designed to explain to farmers and ranchers how they can be involved in supporting missions through the STEER program click Here.  Farmer/rancher brochures are available as well from the STEER office at printing costs.  Contact the STEER office for more brochure information.
• Have the farmer/rancher sign an Agreement of Stewardship Form which we can supply, and send it to our office for processing.  We require one bank reference which we verify before we invest any funds.
• Farmers and ranchers who are undecided or who desire more information should be referred to us.  We keep all contacts confidential and make every reasonable effort to get them involved in your financial support.
